Handpoke FAQ
HOW DO I GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU?
Email is best! I do also check my DMs on instagram but they do come in as requests and are more likely to get lost or unseen. My email is emilypantentattoo@gmail.com - feel free to shoot me a message there whenever! I’ll do my best to get back to you within 2 to 3 days.
I have an idea for a tattoo. How do I request an appointment?
You can email me at emilypantentattoo@gmail.com. Please be sure to add as much specific information as possible like size, placement and reference images if you have any!
How do I book a flash piece?
All available flash pieces are show in the top right hand portion of my website called “Flash” with directions for how to schedule. If you don’t see anything posted there, it means all pieces are claimed but more will be on the way!
Do you send out designs ahead of the appointment?
I do not but we will customize what I’ve draw to you the day of your appointment so no worries there! We can make small adjustments to fit you no problem :)
What placements are you open to?
A: As a newer artist to handpoke, I am only doing arms, legs and parts of the back right now. If you are looking for something outside of this, please email me at emilypantentattoo@gmail.com for approval before scheduling.
How should I prepare for a tattoo? What should I bring?
You will want to arrive fed, hydrated, moisturized, and rested!!! If we’re tattooing an area where there’s hair, it’s a bonus if you shave the area the day before, but it’s not necessary at all (I can always do this!) Wear comfy, loose-fitting clothing and think about easy/comfortable access to the area we’re tattooing. Feel free to bring: a blanket, a pillow, a water bottle, a snack, headphones, etc.
What do you recommend for aftercare?
A: I have saniderm available to send you out the door with if you prefer that over a basic bandage. Once you remove the saniderm or the bandage, you will want to use antibacterial fragrance free soap to wash the area where the tattoo is a couple of times a day following each cleaning up with a light fragrance free moisturizer.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, card or apple pay are great! Cash is preferred but please do whatever is most convenient for you!
Can I bring a friend with?
Unfortunately we are a private studio with limited space to accommodate additional guests. My preference will always be to work one on one with each client in order to devote all of my focus and energy there. If there is a circumstance that warrants a companion or buddy, please feel free to message me about it! I want to work with you and believe comfortability to be an important factor in the overall tattoo experience.
Where are you located?
I work out of CoLab Cosmetic + Body Tattooing in St. Louis Park -- located at 4815 Minnetonka Blvd. SLP 55416. There is parking in our lot directly behind the building :)
CoLab is a CO-OP owned and operated by me and four of my friends/coworkers; our hope is to offer you a comfy, warm inclusive environment to spend time in during your tattoo!
What are your hours?
They vary! I typically try to always keep Sunday an off day for myself but most other days can be option depending on the week. I try my best to be as flexible as I can be to accommodate each persons individual need.
